Food Co-op provides fresh fruit and vegetables at affordable prices. We supply residents, local nurseries, primary schools and breakfast clubs. Orders can be delivered directly to the door/premises free of charge. We purchased a chiller to keep the fruit and vegetables fresh and prolong shelf life. Dundee North Law Centre
One of our most successful and busy surgeries and assists residents in all-legal aspects, this may include rent arrears, employment issues, social security problems, mortgage arrears, consumer issues, education, criminal injuries, debt advice and help also. This free surgery is strictly by appointment only on Thursday 10am - 1pm. Phone 436310 or 432458 to make an appointment.
Money Advice Support Team
Have a surgery twice weekly to assist with form filling relating to Social Security and others and also general debt enquiries and assistance with relevant agencies to help you. Free service Monday 2pm - 4pm (appointments only) and Wednesday 10am - 12noon (drop in) Phone 01382 436310 or 01382 432450 to arrange an appointment.
Kirkton Job Shop,
Incorporating Dundee Employment and Aftercare Project, Learning Around and Enterprise Advice Project was initially set up to provide 2 morning sessions a week to accommodate 10 participants. This was found to be so successful it was changed to one whole day and the numbers have increased greatly. On average over 70 local people access the Job shop each month. Some successful training courses have included: Childcare, Ambulance Service, and Council First Aid Certificate. All of these are achieved with partnership work with relevant agencies. The Local Councillor
Holds a weekly surgery to enable residents and tenants to contact him with many problems, including dealing with housing issues, neighbour problems etc. Thursdays 5.30pm - 6.15pm (except school holidays)
Enterprise Advice Project

Action Team for Jobs
Is to encourage those on benefits to gain suitable employment and help preparation for CV's and training and even in some cases financial support. Phone 01382 373464 to make an appointment or just drop in.

Training drivers in MiDAS (Mini Bus Driver Awareness Scheme) for passenger safety, as part of Dundee Community Transport. Contact 529407 for further information.

this scheme is in partnership with Tayside Police to ensure that when you're out the burglars are not in! Come and get a timer for your lights, electrical equipment for a £1.00

Buddies Drop In ( Not Running At Present)
This drop in group is to allow parents, youths and children to talk to someone about any issues they may have affecting school, bullying or just getting along together. Talk to someone who can help work through all these issues or put you in touch with someone who can help. This is a confidential service and is facilitated by Eighteen and Under which is an organisation that offers free information and support to young people who have experienced any kind of abuse - ranging from bullying to violence and sexual abuse. Free confidential service available on Thursday 3.30pm - 4.30pm.
Computer Room
We have 3 computers broadband linked for community use. There is a minimum charge of 50p per 30 minutes. There are also printing facilities at a minimum charge.
Our Meeting Rooms
Are provided free of charge to residents groups etc to empower the local community and others to participate in local decision making.
